Major Bonesteele smiled cynically when he ordered Captain Zachary Sain to attack and disperse the hordes of bloodthirsty Apaches who swarmed the Texas hills – with only a handful of men. Hopelessly outnumbered, the troopers’ chances of survival were slim, but the order had to be obeyed! And only Sain knew the real motive behind Bonesteele’s command!

Fighting Texans, Troopers and Indians clash violently in this action packed story of marauding savages and double-dealing soldiers who met along the Rio Grande in the days when the United States Army tried to protect the southern route to California.
